The internal auditor is an internal consultant and risk management expert who oversees organizational governance. Boasting a knowledge of business processes, he or she formulates economic recommendations designed to optimize the efficiency of internal controls, thereby conferring added value to the business activities under review.

- Drawing up of plans providing for the creation of an Internal Auditing - Department, and assistance with setup and implementation as required.
- Provision of internal auditing services on an as needed basis.
- Provision of external quality assessment of internal auditing services to ensure compliance with Standard 1312 of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA).
