DECIMAL appoints a new executive
Longueuil, October, 2009 – DECIMAL, a consulting firm and software solutions provider in corporate performance as well as, governance, compliance, quality and risk management, today announced the recent appointment of Brian Philbin, CA, as Vice President, Risk Management Practice.
Chartered accountant with more than 25 years of experience, Brian has held many positions as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer within companies in the financial, technological, healthcare and manufacturing sectors before specializing in integrated and operational risk management. Brian has succeeded in completing no less than 25 mandates in different sectors during the last 4 years.
Recognized as an expert in the risk management field, Brian has presented many conferences in the Province of Quebec and throughout Canada. This specialization and the reputation he has gained over the years, has led him to teach risk management at universities to master’s degree students and at HEC Montreal, for the senior executive program.
In the course of his functions at DECIMAL, Brian’s main mission will be to develop the risk management practice relying on the team of professionals based in Longueuil and Quebec City.
