CMA Gala of Appreciation - June 12, 2010, Trois-Rivières. As partner, DECIMAL participates in this Gala which aims to pay tribute to the greatest achievements of last year, particularly in terms of employment and partnership with employers. Forget-Me-Not are awarded during the Gala.

The Quebec CMA Order gives DECIMAL an award
The Ordre des comptables en management accrédités du Québec (CMA) awarded many Forget-Me-Not trophies on June 6 as part of the Gala of Appreciation to pay tribute to the greatest achievements of the year. Thus, DECIMAL won the Employer of the Year trophy for its contribution to the influence of the CMA designation. DECIMAL employs some 13 CMAs and candidates to the profession, and actively participates in the recruiting cocktails organized by the Order throughout Quebec.

Big Bang 2010
DECIMAL participated in ICT Commercialization Forum, organized by the AQT, the Quebec Technology Association, on May 11, 2010 in Montreal. More than 120 Presidents, VPs, Managers, Executives group together to improve their commercialization knowledge.

DECIMAL participated in the recruitment cocktail in Sherbrooke on May 13, 2010. A nice opportunity for the students to assure the take-over in accounting sciences, CMA profile, and meet significants employers like DECIMAL.  
DECIMAL year-round participates in many meetings with future CMA. These students come from Concordia University, HEC Montréal, McGill University, The Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM), Laval University, the University of Quebec at Rimouski, Levis Campus and Sherbrooke University.

CMA - DECIMAL lunch conference

On Tuesday , February 9, 2010, took place in Montreal the eighth edition of the "lighthouses" Ceremony, the highest price in corporate governance given by Korn Ferry, Commerce Magazine. During the ceremony that awards the excellence in corporate governance and pays homage to the experienced administrator of the year and the board of directors that have distinguished themselves by their commission politic, in the big and medium-sized companies category, Colabor, one of our customer, has been the finalist in the big company category.

January 19, 2010. Brian Philbin, in charge of the risk management practice at DECIMAL, will address Enterprise Risk Management, and particularly the importance of transparency and communication.

DECIMAL in the Best Practices Forum
DECIMAL participated in the Best Practices Forum, in the Palais des Congrès of Montréal, on November 12 2009. DECIMAL believes in the performance increase of the organizations through the integration of the management best practices.

Forum for the Health Industry of Quebec

On December 3^rd, Mr. Christian Babbini, vice president of management accounting practice of DECIMAL gived a conference on the pricing of health care and the cost.

DECIMAL participated in the Vision Management Symposium, on Tuesday, October 27, 2009, in Montreal. The subject was: "IFRS: gain or loss for businesses and investors?" 

Great Success at the Vitrine Technologique of Quebec, on October 7, 2009 
Both the public and the parapublic sectors have shown great interest in learning more, around DECIMAL's experts, on DECIMAL's Internal Controls Management solution, enabling the internal auditors to automate all compliance processes related to the internal controls. Extensive installations of the costing and budgeting solution (the Decimal Suite) from the management accounting practise reinforce the foundations of the company within the public sector by showing more a partner relationship than a software solutions provider.
